Teaching and Learning Policy
The Kings & Queens Medical University College Teaching and Learning Policy seeks to provide guidelines needed to ensure that the University College offers innovative, demand-driven Medical Science programmes that facilitate student learning, acquisition of knowledge and the skills to contribute to National Development in the Health Sector. This will be achieved through the provision of Teaching and Learning Materials to Enhance practical Skills.
Medical Research Policy
Research form a major part in Medical Education leading to new discoveries, and is the one which is lost in the medical sciences in Ghana and Africa at Large. Inadequate research works in our education has resulted in inability to publish medical journals and new inventions that can benefits the Global Health Sector. This is an alarming situation that calls for immediate motivation and establishment of research centres. Kings & Queens Medical University College is committed in establishing and motivating students, clinicians and academicians in proactive research that will benefit the Nation and the Continents as well.
Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Policy
The increasing role of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) is a vehicle for Medical Teaching, Learning and Research. Kings & Queens Medical University College having realized the importance and Key Role of ICT for everyday life has Integrated ICT Policy into its core curriculum of the University College and also relate it to the vision, mission and strategic priorities of the Medical University College.
To achieve the strategic objectives of the University, it is necessary that there must be ways of interactions and sharing of knowledge within the university as well as the outside world.
Quality Assurance Policy
Medical education in Ghana is faced with several challenges including quality and accessibility, financial constraints, inadequate Facilities, increasing students’ enrollment, competition with emerging institutions, cross-border provision of medical education among others. A system of ensuring quality in operations is needed to be in place to battle these challenges. Hence, Kings & Queens Medical University College is committed in providing quality in its management and operations.
